Land Tenure and the Social Economy

Abstract

This presentation to the 2009 symposium of the BC-Alberta Social Economy Research Alliance (BALTA) reports on BALTA Project D3, which explored a range of land tenure and land trusts issues and models. It also explains the intentions for a second phase of research digging deeper into potential uses of land trusts in housing affordability and agriculture/food security.
