Innovative Uses of Co-operative Housing Assets

Abstract

As housing co-operatives start to reach the point where they are retiring their mortgages, questions arise as to whether and how those assets might be leveraged to further support the needs of the affordable and co-operative housing sector. This is the final report of a research project to explore those questions, specifically in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada.
